Why TRIBE408?
WHO ARE YOU?!? No really...WHO are you? Better yet...WHOSE are you?
These are two VERY IMPORTANT questions that God invites us to explore every day as we navigate our way through relationship with Him and our life in the world. He is constantly trying to recapture our attention and refresh our perspective by asking us, "Does the world define you or do I?" In the end, if you never know who you are, you'll never know where you belong!
The truth of the matter is that when you set all your pain, pride, and preference aside and you're HONEST when answering these two questions, you'll discover one VERY important thing:
your TRUE identity IN Christ!
Our name, TRIBE408, is a combination of 3 things:
TRIBE...His heart for His people UNITED in community
40...the biblical number for trials
8...the biblical number for new beginnings
At TRIBE408 we believe that, "[we] are ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS." (Galatians 3:28). Regardless of the trials we experience, we are ONE BODY with HIS NAME stepping into new beginnings together!
Our mission is to equip you with 1) gear covered with unique identity statements from God's word; 2) encouragement from blog posts centered around developing strength in WHO and WHOSE you are; and 3) a community of believers ready to support and love you into your true identity in Christ. Our hope is that, regardless of where you are in your walk with Christ, you'll be prepared to declare your TRUE IDENTITY as a beloved child of god and walk in it with authority daily!
